On behalf of the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand, I am truly honored and delighted to welcome all of you to the 47th Annual Meeting of RCOST, which will be held right here in the beautiful city of Pattaya, from October 23rd to 25th, 2025, at PEACH, the Royal Cliff Hotel.
This year is a very special one for us, as we are proud to have China as our Guest Nation. It is with great pleasure that we warmly welcome Prof. Zhang Yingze and Prof. Wang Kunzheng, Presidents of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association, along with Prof. KK Wong, President of the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association, and Prof. Chan Ying Kei, President of the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons. We also extend our warmest greetings to all our Chinese colleagues and friends who will join us. The theme of this year’s meeting is: “Artificial Intelligence in Orthopaedics: The Power of Future.” It reflects our shared vision — to move forward together into a future where innovation and technology improve the lives of our patients and transform the way we practice orthopaedics.
Before the main congress begins, we have something very special for you.
On October 22nd, we will host a Cadaveric Workshop by the beach, with sessions focusing on Shoulder Instability,
a high-level Orthopaedic Trauma Masterclass, and Robotic-Assisted Hip & Knee Arthroplasty. With world-class instructors,
hands-on techniques, and the relaxing beachside atmosphere, I promise — it’s going to be both educational and enjoyable.
We’ve prepared this meeting with great care, and with warm Thai hospitality at heart.
We want you to not only gain new knowledge and make new connections, but also to feel at home here in Thailand.
So once again, welcome to Pattaya. Welcome to RCOST 2025.
We look forward to an exciting and inspiring few days together.
Sawasdee krub, and welcome.
Dear Esteemed Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that I invite you to join us at the 47th Annual Meeting of the Royal College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of Thailand (RCOST), to be held at PEACH, Royal Cliff Hotel, in the picturesque coastal city of Pattaya, from October 23rd to 25th, 2025.
This year’s gathering offers more than just a meeting — it is a reflection of how far we’ve come, and how far we are ready to go, with the support of technology and global collaboration. With the theme “Artificial Intelligence in Orthopaedics: The Power of Future,” we aim to explore how AI is reshaping surgical practice, education, and patient care, and how we as orthopaedic professionals can harness this power to elevate our field.
A notable highlight of RCOST 2025 is the honor of having the People’s Republic of China as our Guest Nation. We are truly delighted to welcome Professor Zhang Yingze and Professor Wang Kunzheng, distinguished leaders of the Chinese Orthopaedic Association. Alongside them, we are also privileged to host Professor KK Wong, President of the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association, and Professor Chan Ying Kei, President of the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Their presence, together with many respected colleagues from China and Hong Kong, symbolizes our shared commitment to advancing orthopaedic care through unity and exchange.
We are also pleased to introduce the Cadaveric Workshop Program, which offers participants valuable hands-on experience in advanced orthopaedic procedures. Led by a team of expert instructors, these sessions are designed to enhance surgical skills through practical learning in a real anatomical setting.
Beyond the scientific program, we are eager to share with you the renowned warmth of Thai hospitality. Our team has worked tirelessly to ensure that this event will not only broaden your knowledge and professional network, but also leave you with lasting memories of camaraderie and cultural connection.
Whether this is your first RCOST meeting or a return to familiar faces, I warmly welcome you to Pattaya and look forward to sharing this meaningful journey with you.
With sincere regards,
Professor Bancha Chernchujit
Chairman
The 47th Annual Meeting of RCOST
Dear friends,
I am Dr. Yasuyuki Ishibashi, the President of the Japanese Sports Orthopaedic association (JSOA). On behalf of JSOA, I would like to say a few words to you of Thailand and Southeast Asia.
First of all, I would like to thank Professor Bancha Chernchujit, president of the Thai Orthopedic Society of Sports Medicine and TOSSM members for inviting JSOA as a guest nation to TOSSM in 2024. About 20 Japanese lecturers representing Japanese sports orthopedics in the fields of knee, shoulder and foot will participate the meeting. Also, many young Japanese doctors will attend the meeting and make presentations. We believe that this will be a good chance to deepen academic exchange and friendship with you through the TOSSM & JSOA combined meeting.
We are looking forward to seeing you in Pattaya.
Dear TOSSM members, colleagues and friends,
Warmest welcome to the Congress!
I am pleased to invite you to actively participate in the "TOSSM-JSOA Combined Meeting 2024", which will be held on July 4th-6th, 2024, in Pattaya, Thailand.
